Last updated: July 2, 2026
Wandsbridge Reading Journal is developed by WANDSBRIDGE LTD. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user data.
1. Data Collection and Transmission
- No Personal Data Collection: The app does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal, sensitive, or user-identifiable information (such as name, email, phone number, location, or device identifiers).
- No Network Access: The app does not request or use the INTERNET permission. All functionality is fully offline. No data is ever sent off your device.
- No Third-Party Services: We do not use any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics trackers, or cloud services.
2. Local Storage
All information you enter into the app — including books, reading sessions, notes, quotes, reviews, shelves, and goals — is stored locally in a private database on your device.
3. Backup, Restore, and Deletion
- Local Backups: Backup and restore operations use the Storage Access Framework (SAF). The file is saved to or read from a directory you choose, and only you control it.
- Data Erasure: You can permanently delete all your data at any time via Settings > Delete all data or Settings > Reset app. Uninstalling the app also deletes all data.
4. Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all. It has no age gate, account system, or communication features.
5. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is ever updated, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new policy will be published here and within the app's Settings > About & legal section.
